Prime Day is Amazon's annual occasion solely for Prime members. They usually offer a day or two of special discounts on thousands of items across all product categories.
When is Prime Day 2022?
Amazon has announced that Prime Day will take place on July 12 and 13 this year. The first offers started on June 21st.
In previous years, Prime Day took place in July, but the 2020 sale was rescheduled due to the pandemic and took place in October. In 2021, Prime Day will take place at the end of June and return to normal daylight saving time.
How do you prepare for the rush day?
First, make sure you already have an Amazon Prime membership. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial here, after which your subscription will cost $14.99/month or $139/year (the price increased from $12.99/month to $119/year last February).

Remember: Amazon Prime Day isn't the only major sale to keep an eye on. Other major retailers, including Walmart and Target, are likely to run their own mega sales and contests, although these events have yet to be announced.
How to find the best Prime Day deals
You need to bookmark the Amazon listing page, which should display all the items included in the sale. Make sure you check in early and often on D-Day; Prime Day deals are known to sell out quickly and new deals are likely to be added during the sale.
